about the first big Cuvac Day in Amerika

When the history of the Slovensky Cuvac in America is written ( and someday it will), the day of June 19th 1993 is a date that will be remembered.

On that day, at Goat Hill Farm in Hardwick/Massachusetts, the home of Paul and Tracy Wilkes, more Cuvacs from more different bloodlines were assembled than at any time since the Cuvac was brought to this country some thirty years ago.

A number of events conspired to make this possible.

Betka of Goat Hill Farm (STDCOA 8901A out of Germina z Farmy Zbiroh (STDCOA..) owned by Paul and Tracy Wilkes and Grant z Kmochova rodiste FCI Interchamp + Worldchampion owned by Elisabeth Maus, Germany had given birth to a fine litter of ten puppies on April 30, 1993.

And this was the first time they were being shown to prospective buyers.

The STDCOA provided a "four generation pedigree" registration from 1982-1994;

2008 the STDCOA started to offer a "five generation pedigree".

Anyone interested in purchasing an imported SC or American breed SC, we have information about.

The next litter in USA is planned May 2009/VA. (imported female+ male from Slovakia.

STDCOA started as a member of the "American Rare Breed Association", "ARBA", who sponsors most of the rare breed dog shows.

The STDCOA is always looking for anyone, who has owned or currently owns a Slovensky Cuvac, that has not made a contact with the club.
